Cath Maskell
Cath is a ceramic artist living and working in Glasgow.
She makes both functional and decorative pieces, using stoneware clays. Her functional pieces have been commissioned by several high profile restaurants in London. Her work is influenced by other ceramics, the natural world, words and music and food, and what it is to be human. She is interested in the possibilities offered by clay as a conveyor of feeling and uses both wheel throwing and hand building methods in her work.
She is available for taster sessions, private lessons and runs small group wheel throwing lessons.
