I originally Graduated from the University of Glasgow with a B.Sc in Archaeology, one of the modules in my course was on Ceramics, as part of it we went for a day trip to the Ceramics department at The Glasgow School of Art to find out methods of creating ceramic ware.
After I graduated I always came across ceramic pieces on excavations. Still interested in it I decided to go with my Arty side and applied to The Glasgow School of Art where I graduated with a B.A (Hons) Design: Ceramics.
At the Moment I am making a mixture of Pieces from Children’s night lights (fairytale buildings and pirate ships), model steam locomotives, jewellery and other ceramic ware e.g Teapots.
I have also worked with Primary school children to create a mosaic to celebrate the anniversary of their school.
